Last month I took a trip to Nassau, Bahamas. Let me tell you that the beach was amazing! It literally looked like something you would see when you google "best beaches" on images lol. It was a crazy flight from LAS (Las Vegas) to CHI (Chicago), 30 min layover then CHI to FLL (Fort Lauderdale) then FLL to NAS (Nassau). The killer was from FLL to NAS because there was a 4 hour delay due to the aircraft having mechanical problems. I ended up getting wasted at FLL's bar and started chatting up with a fellow Nassau goer on the same flight. She told me that every time she's been to Bahamas, there is ALWAYS a delay for some reason. I guess the people are on island time I suppose lol. Immigration was a breeze and quickly hopped into a shuttle with other passengers. We stayed at the HOLIDAY INN which is right across from Junakoo beach. It's in a very convenient location and had free continental breakfast each morning along with a swimming pool and cardio gym.

The food in the Bahamas was definitely comfort food. It was a combination of American southern and Hispanic food. All the entrees included either fries, plantains, Mac and cheese or rice. Their diet includes a lot of conch as well. Its reminiscent of calamari.

Of course we had to stop by the infamous ATLANTIS HOTEL & CASINO

We bought the "aqua adventure" day pass that gives you access to the waterpark which has over 10 pools, access to the beach and the aquarium. It is considered to be one of the largest waterparks in the world! We paid $156 per person and the wristbands were good from 9:00am-7:00pm. In my opinion I don't think it was worth it but it was cool to check out once.

One of the days we relaxed at the beach. We whipped out the drone and flew it out and this random guy comes on a jetski and asks us if we wanted to rent it. He offered $120 for 1 hour when its "usually $140" we took up on his offer and jetted over to see some dolphins and explored another island! There was a storage space in the front of the jetski where we could put our belongings.
