I recently went to Page, Arizona for the famous HORSESHOE BEND & LOWER ANTELOPE CANYON. Horseshoe bend is located right off the US-89 N. Surprisingly it was a quick 7 Min walk from the parking lot to the scenery. I went for sunset and it was beautiful! Beaware that for sunset the sun is shining right at you, whereas sunrise the sun will be behind you if you were facing the bend.

The next day I went to LOWER ANTELOPE CANYON which is about 5 miles from Page town. There was a lot of contemplation of doing the lower or upper Antelope Canyon because I wasn’t about to pay 100$ for both canyons. But after doing some research, lower antelope is a lot less crowded and a lot more narrower. There is one entrance and exit for the lower antelope so be sure to use the restroom before going in. The upper canyon has the same entrance and exit hence it being crowded. You cannot visit the canyon without a reservation and they do not accept same day reservations. I booked through Kens tour (www.lowerantelope.com) at 10am. Not too much sunlight going through the canyon but I could imagine at 12 pm having lots of dimensions! No backpacks are allowed or video taking during the tour, but pictures are okay. In total we were walking through the canyon for 30 minutes.

After the canyon I ate at BIRDHOUSE which had delicious, flakey deep fried chicken. By far the tastiest food in Page! The smell of the fried chicken sticks onto your clothes!
